Glera Spumante Brut Bottega Gold Prosecco (11%) guarantees rare and elegant fragrances. A packaging with a great emotional effect makes it a really prestigious present. Vino dei Poeti is the prestigious trademark which evokes the joy with which poets, artists and men of culture toast to life. Prosecco, which comes from a native vine stock, is light, fragrant and high quality Italian wine. Bottega Gold is obtained by the vinification in white of the Prosecco grapes, grown in the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills. These grapes are hand picked and taken directly into the winery where the stalks are eliminated and the grapes are softly pressed. The must obtained is maintained in stainless steel containers at 0° degrees and then fermented in autoclave for nearly 40 days, at a controlled temperature of 14-15°C, with the addition of selected yeasts (Charmat method). Bottega Gold is excellent as an aperitif and it is suitable both to celebrate and to be enjoyed at any moment of the day.
Veneto, Italy is a large wine producing region, with the most famous wines being produced around the city of Verona to the east of lake Garda. Here the region’s Soave’s made with Garganega and Trebbiano are king. Whilst further west Bardolino makes highly fruity reds from the Corvina, Roninella and Morlinara varieties. But more recently the region is known for its production of Prosecco. Italy’s favourite fizz is riding the wave of ever more increasing popularity, a style of sparkling is generally dry, fully fizzy – Spumante or Frizzante, lightly fizzy. Predominantly a white style, rose is available and is increasingly common with the best region just north of Venice and the town of Conegliano.
